Cyberpunk 2077 User Metacritic Score is expectedly low - the reason is in the console version

The situation with the launch of Cyberpunk 2077 came out, to put it mildly, unpleasant. The fact is that journalists and bloggers wrote all reviews on the PC version of the game and enjoyed all the benefits of modern hardware. In such conditions, even despite the technical problems, many got a positive impression of the new CD Projekt RED game.

However, the same cannot be said about the console version of Cyberpunk 2077. In particular, we are talking about PS4 and Xbox One - on these platforms the game is not at all similar to what the developers talked about and showed earlier. Gamers faced not only bugs but also low performance.

Metacritic opened up to accept user ratings today, so the reactions were immediate. In the first couple of hours, almost half of all reviews are negative. And in most cases, they write about one thing - bugs and an unfinished game.

Here is the PC version:

PS4 version:

CD Projekt RED has not yet responded to the flurry of negativity regarding the console versions of Cyberpunk 2077. At the same time, the PC situation is much better - initially on Steam there were 71% positive reviews, but over time the rating began to grow. At the time of publication, the game already had 77% positive reviews.

Unfortunately, only CD Projekt RED itself can solve the problem with the console version of Cyberpunk 2077, releasing patches and improving optimization as much as possible.
